Hyder acquires MHE for £1.9m

Hyder Consulting has continued its push into the UK environment sector with the acquisition of Marcus Hodges Environment (MHE). The deal cost £1.9m with a further £650,000 payable over the next three years dependent on profit performance.
MHE is the unnamed company that Hyder announced it was pursuing in an announcement to the Stock Exchange
in July, in which it unveiled
another acquisition in the same sector, Buckinghamshire-based Ashact.
In the 12 months to March, MHE's turnover of £2m produced a pre-tax profit of £250,000.
MHE's staff of 40 will continue to operate from their existing offices in Exeter, Bristol and Truro as a specialist division known as Hyder Marcus Hodges.
