Fourth PM system for Wright

Wright Minimix has added a fourth PM on-board weighing system to its seven-strong fleet of Hymix concrete mixer bodied 6x2 Iveco rigids.
Director Len Wright said the only way his business could expand was to improve vehicle utilisation. The PM systems allow trucks to load up and deliver specified amounts of concrete to more than just one customer on a single run.
Wright said: "Since we've installed the PM systems we've had a productivity gain of roughly 15% per vehicle, our margins have improved, and our turnover has significantly increased."
With concrete loads varying in quantity between customers, the PM system can weigh individual amounts, while a
telemetry system enables the user to view and download customers' details.
