Morgan Est has picked up utilities contracts worth approximately £340m with Severn Trent Water and National Grid Transco (NGT).
Morgan Est is one of Severn Trent's preferred suppliers to carry out a number of projects in its southern area, consisting of south Warwickshire, Birmingham, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire. Work will start in April 2005 and last for five years and will involve process-related civil engineering and M&E installation projects. The contract is worth £15m to £20m a year.
NGT has awarded a professional services contract Morgan Est Gas Alliance, which compries Morgan Est, Parsons Brinckerhoff, Glendee and Utilise. The contract involves preparatory work ahead of the award of an alliance agreement for NGT's gas replacement programme worth £30m to £40m annually for eight years.
