Crest Nicholson partners for £1bn Bath regeneration

Crest Nicholson will partner with Grosvenor on the £1bn regeneration of Bath Western Riverside.

The scheme involves the regeneration of 26ha of brownfield land to the west of the city centre. The capital development value is in excess of £1bn. It is expected to include more than 2,000 homes, 100,000m2 of mixed commercial development and supporting community infrastructure.

A comprehensive planning application will be submitted in spring 2005. Work is expected to start on site in late 2006. The development should take 12 years to complete.
