Mansell wins housing contracts worth £24.3m

Mansell has secured three new housing contracts worth a total of £24.3m.

The first is a £12.4m deal with The Places for People Group for the construction of a four-storey block of 71 flats at Orsman Road in London’s Shoreditch area. The canal-side development will include a nursery facility, café, commercial space and underground car park, and upon completion will provide both private and affordable housing.

UNITE has awarded Mansell two new contracts totalling £11.9m: one at £6.1m for the provision of a 209-unit student accommodation block on London’s Caledonian Road, the other of £5.8m for the provision of a 182-unit student accommodation block in Kentish Town. 

The two new contracts represent the sixth and seventh that Mansell has been awarded from UNITE since securing an open timescale and value framework partnership with them in 1999.
