£40k damage to Bath Spa windows

There was further bad news at Mowlem's £36m Bath Spa project for Bath & North East Somerset Council (BANES) after vandals caused £40,000 of damage to windows at the weekend.
Bath Police are appealing to witnesses who might have seen the incident on Saturday night, which involved several bottles of alcohol being hurled through four plate glass windows - each worth £10,000.
Work is already under way by Mowlem to repair the damage. The incident follows hot on the heels of last week's news that faults in the waterproof flooring of the Spa's steamroom had led to leaks into adjoining rooms.
A meeting, which BANES described as "positive", was held between project team members last week to evaluate how to address the problems.
