BuildOnline wins five-year Anglian Water project worth £1bn

BuildOnline, a supplier of document management and collaboration solutions, has won a major five-year deal worth £1bn to support more than 500 Anglian Water projects.

The solution from BuildOnline will be implemented across 1,000 users in phase one of the deal. 

Anglian Water envisages rolling out BuildOnline to its multi tiered supply chain so that even the smallest of sub contractors will get the benefits of working collaboratively. Worrying DTI figures showed that only 12% of all construction firms using collaboration software.

The BuildOnline solution will enable Anglian Water to provide greater time efficiencies across alliance teams, implemented across the whole of the eastern region.

The selection of BuildOnline by Anglian Water is the third consecutive win for the company within the utilities sector including Thames Water and Scottish Water Solutions.
