REPAIRS, MAINTENANCE AND PROPERTY IMPROVEMENTS
SELECT LIST OF CONTRACTORS

WATMOS Housing Co-operative Limited is revising and updating its
select list of contractors and is seeking suitably qualified and
experienced contractors interested in helping the Co-operative
deliver a quality major property improvement programme and day to day
repairs and maintenance.

The Co-operative will be letting contracts for the following work
over the next three years:-

New Bathrooms
New Kitchens
Gas Central Heating
Electric Rewiring including Electric Heating Systems and Communal Lighting
Roofing both Flat and Pitched
Tarmacing and Paving
Fencing
Replacing Existing Water Services

Day to Day Repairs and Maintenance
Repair, Maintenance and Upgrading Works on Passenger Lifts
Repair, Maintenance and Upgrading of Door Entry and CCTV systems
Repair, Maintenance of Fire Alarms
Service and Maintenance of Fire Fighting Equipment including dry risers
Testing and Repair of Lighting Conductors
Service and Repair of Water Pumping Stations including all Associated Pipework
Repair and Maintenance of Roof Fans
Repair of Rubbish Chutes
Asbestos Surveying and Testing
Asbestos Removal
External and Communal Area Painting
Plastering
Carpentry/Joinery
Bricklaying
Plumbing
Fencing
Tarmacing
Door and Window Repairs
Roofing Flat
Roofing Pitched
Asbestos Testing
Asbestos Removal
Grounds Maintenance
Tree Surgery
Glazing

Contractors wishing to be considered for inclusion on the WATMOS
select list should email or apply in writing for the application form
and additional information to Peter Astbury, Property Services
Manager, and return the completed form and additional information to
Peer Astbury, Property Services Manager and return the completed
forms to WATMOS Housing Co-operative Limited by 12 noon on 29th
November 2004.
