Stock condition survey - Harlow District Council


HARLOW DISTRICT COUNCIL
STOCK CONDITION SURVEY - HOUSING
The Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified
Consultants who wish to be considered to be invited to tender to
undertake Stock Condition Surveys in accordance with the ODPM
Guidance Notes as contained in Annex 11: Business Planning for Local
Authority Housing with Resource Accounting in Place (December
consultation/guidance 1999).
Outputs from the Stock Condition Survey will feed into the analysis
framework which looks at investment needs in the stock under a number
of headings as detailed below:
1. Catch up works
2. Future major works
3. Cyclical maintenance
4. Responsive repairs
5. Cost reflective improvements
6. Non cost reflective improvements (typically estate works)

7. Monitor the component/sub-component (non-cost)
In seeking applications the Council does not imply that any
organisation or person will be included on any shortlist of potential
tenderers or be invited to tender for any contract.
Consultants will be required to complete a pre-qualification
questionnaire which must be returned to the Council by no later that
29th November 2004. If you are interested please contact Tina
