Costain wins contracts worth £47m

Costain has won two prestigious contracts worth approximately £47m.

In Enfield, north London, Costain will be responsible for the PalaceXchange Development.

Worth £29m, the contract will provide 14,800m2 of retail space in 23 shop units, as well as leisure and cultural venues. Completion is set for some time in 2006.

At Rothley Lodge, Leicestershire, Costain will manage the design and construction of a single storey warehouse/production unit together with two-storey office accommodation.

Worth £17m, the contract is due for completeion in September 2005.
