HIGHWAY NETWORK SERVICES
HIGHWAY DRAINAGE AND MINOR CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT 2005-2006

Applications are invited from suitably
experienced contractors for selection to tender
for the Council's Highway Drainage and Minor
Construction Contract. The contract will include
the following key functions:
* Excavation, repair and installation of the highway drainage infrastructure.
* Investigation of highway collapses.
* Reinstatement of footways and carriageways.
* Installation of ducting.
Written applications from organisations who may
wish to be considered for such work should be
addressed to the Highway Network Services
Manager, Bury MBC., Fernhill Depot, Todd Street,
Bury BL9 5BJ and should be requested no later

than Friday, 17th December 2004. The value of the
contract is anticipated to be in the region of
£100,000. Applicants will be required to complete
a questionnaire to enable the Council to
ascertain the organisation's financial standing,
technical knowledge, capacity and ability to
undertake the services.
