Highway services - Nottinghamshire County Council

Nottinghamshire County Council contractual
partnership to deliver highway services

Nottinghamshire County Council wishes to enter into a contractual
partnership with an external service provider to deliver highway
services, based on the principles of 'Rethinking Construction' with
the objective of improving the current delivery of highway services
to the people of Nottinghamshire. The nature of the work will include
highway maintenance, highway improvements, maintenance and
improvement of structures, traffic management schemes and highway
design. The scope of the partnership will cover all the Council's
highway maintenance and improvement works for a period of 10 years
based on performance. The contract is being procured under the

negotiated procedure of the Public Works Contract Regulations 1991
and the
appropriate notice has been lodged with the Official Journal
of the European Union.
A pre-qualification questionnaire and information setting out the
Council's requirements is available from Gamston Area Office,
Radcliffe Road, Gamston, Nottingham NG2 6NP and must be returned to
County Hall, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 7QP by Friday 10 December
2004.
