A consortium comprising Midas Group, Sutton Harbour Holdings and Cyril Sweett has reached Financial Close on the Plymouth NHS LIFT Scheme.
The consortium partners have been working with Plymouth teaching Primary Care Trust and Partnerships for Health to develop designs, agree costs and set up the new LIFT Company, ReSound (Health).
Midas Projects (UK) has commenced work on the first two schemes - a 60 bed, £14m local care centre and a £1.4m GP surgery and community health centre.
Mike Lincoln of Plymouth NHS teaching PCT said: "This has been an excellent example of partnership working. The local expertise of the Private Sector Partners and their commitment to the long-term regeneration agenda of the City has meant the projects have been developed in the real context of local needs".
