Forth Valley advertises £250m PFI hospital


Forth Valley NHS Board needs a £250m PFI hospital to be built.

A prior information notice released on the OJEU today reveals that the Board wants a new acute hospital on the Royal Scottish National Hospital site at Larbert in Forth Valley. Elements of equipment, IMT and communications provision and maintenance related to the facilities may also be included in the deal.

The contract will also include the opportunity to bid for further support services, including cleaning, catering, domestic, portering and hotelling services.

A market awareness day will be held on 16 December.
