Rok Property Services has unveiled its fourth consecutive set of record results as turnover jumped 30% to £490m and pre-tax profit strengthened to £10m in the year to 31 December 2004.
Rok-Build, the construction and building division, increased turnover by a third to £400m. This was helped by the acquisition of contracts from Ballast and the addition of John Dickie Construction.
Thirteen of the 20 Rok-Build offices in operation at the start of the year, where the Rok culture is firmly in place, had organic growth of 20%-plus. Some achieved an operating margin of 2.2%, while the leading offices hit 4%.
Spaceage, the non-core components division, was closed at a loss of £4.1m.
