Applications are invited from established contractors with at least
two years trading experience to carry out any of the following work.
Standing Lists - August 2005-2007
* Heating and Ventilation
* Property Clearance and Cleaning
* Tarpaving
* Metal Railing and Gates
* External Insulation and Cladding
* Timber Fencing and Gates
Successful contractors will be placed on standing lists and will be
requested to quote/tender for work as required in both Departments

Term Tenders - October 2005-2007
* Repairs to Windows and Doors/Garage Doors (PVCu, Timber and Metal)
* Carpeting/Vinyl Tiling of Floors

* Cavity Wall and Domestic Insulation
Work will mainly be carried out to Council owned properties including
domestic tenanted properties and issued on a Schedule of Rate basis.
Contractors on the approved list will be invited to tender a
percentage adjustment to the appropriate Schedule of Unit Rates.
Tenders are expected to be invited in July 2005. Contractors on the
approved list will also be eligible to be considered for similar type
work controlled by Central Support Services. Such work will mainly be
undertaken by quotation or tender.

Term Contract-October 2005-2007
Window Cleaning of N&HS properties
The work requires the regular cleaning at various area offices,
communal areas of sheltered schemes and blocks of flats throughout
the city. Contracts may be awarded for various areas of the city.
Tenders are expected to be invited in July 2005.

New applicants will receive a questionnaire, which must be returned
by Friday 22nd April 2005.
All contractors will be required to hold appropriate CSCS certificates.

The Council is currently reviewing its construction, repairs and
maintenance operation under Best Value Reviews being carried out.
Changes may be implemented during the period for any or all of the
above lists which may affect the operation or duration of the lists.
