PROJECT:
Provision of Prefabricated Units to Council Houses within the Borough
of Barnsley under a Three Year Framework Agreement, with an option to
extend for a further two years.
REF: HSG 3821
DESCRIPTION:
Manufacture, delivery and installation of re-locatable prefabricated
units for disabled persons, including associated mechanical,
electrical, external and builders work. The units will be
predominantly bathroom/bedroom extensions and should be manufactured
so that they can be altered to suit different Client
needs/configurations. The ability to re-stock units until alternative
Clients are identified will be required.

It is anticipated that five Nr. units will be procured through the
agreement per year, although this is not guaranteed.
The award will be on a price/quality basis.
Applicants will be required to complete a pre-qualification
questionnaire and return it before the 29th April 2005. The
questionnaire will be used to evaluate minimum economic, financial,
Health and Safety, quality, performance and technical capacity
requirements for Tenderers. Only Contractors able to provide the full
range of service provision should apply.
SITE:
Within the boundaries of Barnsley M.B.C.
START DATE FOR THE AGREEMENT:
Anticipated to be July, 2005.
COMPLETION DATE FOR THE AGREEMENT:
July 2008, with an option to extend for a further two years subject
to performance.
