Maintenance contracts - Torbay Council

TORBAY COUNCIL

TORBAY COUNCIL TENDERS FOR VARIOUS HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS 2005

Applications are invited from suitably experienced contractors
wishing to be included on select lists of tenderers for undertaking
the following individual Contracts.

1. Carriageway Resurfacing and Reconstruction - Two year contract
2. Minor Highways Works - Two year contract

Contractors should apply to:
The Contracts Engineer, 4th Floor, Roebuck House, Abbey Road,
Torquay, Devon TQ2 5TF, in writing stating which contracts they are
interested in, to arrive no later than Friday, 8th April 2005.

Applications must be accompanied by the following information.
i) A list of principal contracts undertaken in the last three years

with the clients' name, address and telephone number in order that a
reference can be taken up.

ii) A statement of technical expertise, labour and plant resources available.

iii) An indication of the proportion of the contract the applicant
may intend to sub-contract.

iv) Information on current health and safety policy and procedures.

v) Copies of audited accounts for the last three years.

Contractors that are registered with Constructionline are not
required to provide the information but must provide their
registration number.
