Enterprise favourite for ESBI Engineering

Enterprise is the preferred bidder for the acquisition of the business and certain assets of ESBI Engineering (ESBIE).

ESBIE is one of the largest specialist low to high voltage power distribution and transmission network contractors in the Uk and Ireland. In the year to 31 December, it generated unaudited turnover of £39m.

Enterprise chief executive Jack McGrory said: "This announcement is made as part of the consultation process with employees and contract negotiations are continuing. A further announcement will be made in due course."
