Ennstone buys Three Rivers for £2.8m

Ennstone has completed the £2.8m purchase of Three Rivers, an importer and distributor of aggregates to the area north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

It has a strong market position along the 160 freeway corridor to the south of Ennstone’s existing operational territory.

Vaughan McLeod, chairman of Ennstone, said: “This is another step forward in the targeted expansion of our US aggregates business.

"Three Rivers’ strong market position and wharf location offers opportunities for cost and synergy benefits while adding to our western Pennsylvania market share.”
