Amey secures highways contract extension

Amey has secured a one-year extension until May 2006 on the Highways Agency's (HA) Area 1 which covers Devon and Cornwall.

Amey has worked in close partnership with the HA and Scottish Executive for a number of years and across a variety of highway management and maintenance contracts.

It has already been awarded extensions to Area 9 in the West Midlands to June 2007; Area 10 in the North West to June 2007; and the South East Scottish Trunk Road Unit contract to March 2007.
