John Deere unveils new compact trailers at SED 2005

John Deere’s newest compact tractors and Gator utility vehicles are on show at SED for the first time.

Featuring new styling common to the company’s larger agricultural models, the 20 Series four wheel drive compact tractors offer more power, up to 30% more torque and lower fuel consumption. This five model range includes the highest horsepower compact tractor ever sold by the company, the 52hp 4520, plus a brand new mid-chassis tractor, the 42hp 3720.

Fitted with a front loader and backhoe, they can provide a flexible alternative to mini-excavators, especially on sites with restricted access. The John Deere loader’s quick-change design allows fast attachment of 4-in-1 buckets, pallet forks, blades and a range of other implements.

The tractors feature John Deere’s latest Tier 2 low emission engines, and a twin pedal eHydro hydrostatic transmission with cruise control and the exclusive LoadMatch and MotionMatch systems. LoadMatch maximises the available torque by automatically adjusting transmission speed under load, which makes it impossible to stall the engine. MotionMatch makes it easier to switch between tasks where different working speeds and transmission response times are required.

SED 2005 takes place at Fen Farm Milton Keynes between 17 and 19 May. Register now online at www.sed.co.uk for your free fast track entry badges before 3 May.
