Three bidders hope to see the light in Redcar

Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council has shone the spotlight on three firms to contest its £30m PFI streetlighting deal.
David Webster, Vinci Investments and Southern Electric Contracting will work up bids for the scheme.
The project involves replacing 15,000 streetlights - 85% of the council's stock - and installing 3,457 new lighting columns in the first five years of the deal. This will be followed by a 25-year maintenance period.
