Deceuninck blames Oldham closure on tough UK market

Window maker Deceuninck will close one of its two UK factories, after claiming the UK market is a "cause for concern".
CJ reported last week tough competition between uPVC window makers is driving companies out of UK production.
Last week, Deceuninck said it is to close its Status operation in Oldham with the loss of 80 jobs -around one-third of its UK workforce. The company said it will transfer window and door production to other sites in Europe.
