Norwest Holst Construction has been awarded an £8.4m contract by ProLogis Developments to construct a distribution warehouse and production unit in Swindon.
The work involves the building of the South Marston Business Park in Swindon for Honda Logistics UK. Norwest Holst has also been awarded an additional contract for the fit-out.
The state-of-the-art facility, which will include office accommodation on three floors, will be the new base for Honda Logistics for its UK-wide distribution of spare parts and motorcycle/power equipment units.
Architect on the 31-week project, which starts at the end of this month is Michael Sparks Associates and the consulting engineer is the Sprigg Little Partnership.
