Balfour wins £5.4m nursing care facility

Balfour Beatty Construction, the UK building business of Balfour Beatty, has been awarded a £5.4m contract to build the Emsworth House Nursing Care Facility.

This is the fourth framework contract let to Balfour Beatty as part of Hampshire County Council’s £60m nursing home programme.

The project involves the construction of a new 48-bed nursing care facility and the refurbishment of an existing building, together with external works.

Scheduled for completion in winter 2006, the works will start later this month.
