Interserve wins five-year £50m BAA contract

The industrial services division of Interserve has been awarded a contract for projects and maintenance services by BAA worth £10m a year over an initial term of five years. There is the option of a two-year extension.

Interserve will be the preferred maintenance contractor, providing mechanical, electrical and building fabric services, in all existing terminals at Heathrow, with the opportunity to bid for T5 once it is operational. It will also deliver these services at Gatwick, Stansted, Glasgow and Edinburgh airports.
