Amec finalises £800m Incheon Bridge PPP

Amec has finalised its agreement for the £800m Incheon Bridge PPP scheme in South Korea.

The project involves the finance, design, build, maintain and operate one of the world's longest bridges. Amec will project manage the construction phase and has an initial contract to operate and maintain the bridge for seven years.

Samsung Corporation Joint Venture is responsible for the design and construction works, which start immediately and are due for completion in 2009.

Amec's equity investment will total £21m.
