Midas Construction wins deal to build £10m 143-bed hotel

Midas Construction has secured its second contract with Canadian mid-market hotel chain, Future Inns, worth £10m.
The latest 143-bed hotel and conference centre will be located at Plymouth International Medical and Technology Park and is a major step forward in the regeneration of the South West Regional Development Agency owned site.
The hotel, which will be constructed on five floors, includes: a gym, restaurant and conference facilities.
The contract follows Midas’ successful completion of Future’s first UK venture – a £12.3m 200- bed, seven-storey hotel in Cardiff Bay last year.
Future plans to have a portfolio of six hotels across the South, South West and Wales by 2007.
