Day to day repairs service - North Tyneside Council

NORTH TYNESIDE COUNCIL
DAY TO DAY REPAIRS SERVICE
The Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced
organisations that are interested in tendering for the provision of day to day
repairs to its housing stock to complement its own service.
The work will comprise the day to day repairs to the Council's housing stock,
which could include for the likes of plastering, plumbing, joinery, brickwork,
roofing and painting. Any work would be strictly on instruction and would
complement the Council's own service. As the service is demand led no
guarantee to the amount of work can be given, but
it is anticipated that any work
would not exceed £150,000 over the duration of the contract. Any contract would
be for a period up to 31 March 2006.
Written applications from organisations, that may
wish to provide this service, and
be considered for such work, should be addressed to North Tyneside Council,
Procurement Services, PO Box 107, Station Road, Killingworth, Tyne and Wear,
NE12 0WG (FAO Mike Forrest), and should be received by the Council no later
than noon 20 June 2005.
Applicants may be required to complete a questionnaire to enable the Council to
ascertain the organisation's financial and economic standing and technical
knowledge and ability.
No previous application or expression of interest
shall be taken as an application
for the purposes of this notice.
