Amex Lex wins MoD deal
The Ministry of Defence's £600m contract for the C Vehicle PFI
has been awarded to the Amex Lex Consortium.
Included in the 15-year contract is the supply of construction and
mechanical handling equipment, along with spare part provision,
inventory management technical documentation and training.
More than £100m of plant - 1,700 units including cranes,
excavators, dump trucks, rough terrain forklifts and container
handlers - will be purchased and operated by the Royal Engineers
and Royal Logistic Corps.
