Sherlock steps up at Hewden

The reshuffle continues at Hewden with Brian Sherlock promoted to managing director. As operations director, Sherlock oversaw the integration of the plant business and the tool hire businesses, allowing customers to deal with one organisation for both plant and tool hire needs.
Sherlock will oversee all aspects of Hewden's operations and will work across the business to deliver the company's vision of a total rental solutions provider.
Martin Hender has been appointed to the newly created role of general manager, contract services and lifting. He will be responsible for access, cranes, hoists, power, accommodation and services.
Mike Penn continues as director of sales and marketing. Nick Lloyd, managing director of Finning Group (UK), heads the hirer's board, which includes Sherlock, Penn and finance director Bob Netherway.
