Accord reshuffles senior management

The reshuffle of Accord's senior management team became effective today (Friday).

Stelio Stefanou has stepped up from chief executive to chairman, while Philip Fellowes-Prynne has been promoted from chief operating officer to group managing director. Garry Hawkes, a non-executive director, has become deputy chairman.

These changes were prompted by Roger Brooke's retirement from the chairman's post.

Stefanou said: "When we established Accord as a new breed of public services company, we were immediately at the forefront of PPPs. Roger Brooke played a significant role in this and everyone at Accord pays a warm tribute to his contribution.

"I will be making sure that Accord continues to develop its services to meet the evolving needs of its clients."
