Brandon Hire spends £900k on three more acquisitions

Brandon Hire has expanded its network of branches with the acquisition of three businesses for a total consideration of £900,000.

The acquisitions include: Hire and Sales Co in Sheffield (costing £500,000); A1 Total Hire in Norwich (£100,000); and Spa Plant (£300,000), which has two branches in in Bow, east London, and Southend-on-Sea. This increases Brandon Hire's network to a total of 136 branches.

The group also revealed that trading in the first six months of the year has been steady and lower than at the same time last year. Its interim results will be announced on 15 September.
