Mike Bottjer, who is to stand down as chairman of Interserve, the infrastructure and facilities management group, on 1 September, will be succeeded by Lord Blackwell.
Lord Blackwell was head of the Prime Minister’s Policy Unit, 1995-1997, after an earlier period as a partner of McKinsey. Currently, he is a non-executive director of Slough Estates.
A trading update from Interserve today (Thursday) said that performance in the six months to 30 June has been in line with expectations.
