Strengthening and repair works - Hampshire County Council

TENDER FOR TOWN QUAY WAVEBREAK/PONTOON STRENGTHENING AND REPAIR WORKS
The County Council are inviting applications from
suitably qualified companies for inclusion on a
select list of tenderers for the above works.
The Design and Construct Contract will involve
the repairs and strengthening works of a floating
wavebreak/pontoon at Town Quay, Southampton. The
works will include detailed design of structural
steel work, marine construction and diving work.
The anticipated start date for the works will be
late August 2005 and the contract period will be
eleven weeks.
Applications should include the following information:
* Details of the company;
* Details of works of a similar nature carried out in the last three years;
* Names and addresses of two technical referees (preferably local authority);
* Copies of the last two years' company accounts,
including full profit and loss accounts and
balance sheets;
* Copies of Employer's Liability and Public
Liability Insurance Certificates with minimum
£10m cover;
and should be sent to the address below or
emailed to john.burrows@hants.gov.uk to arrive no
later than 13 July 2005.
