North Wales builders, timber and engineers merchant, Huws Gray Fitlock, has bought Winsford-based Cavanagh Timber for an undisclosed sum.
The Anglesey-based builders merchant has its headquarters in Llangefni and now employs a total of 190 people, including 12 Cavanagh Timber employees.
Cavanagh Timber will adopt Huws Gray Fitlock as a trading name and the combined business will have a turnover in excess of £30m.
The deal, which forms part of Huws Gray Fitlock¹s strategy of expansion, is the first acquisition made by Huws Gray Fitlock outside North Wales.
