Jackson Construction is the preferred contractor on a prestigious £6m project to create a high specification headquarters building for China Shipping (UK) Agency and Johnson Stevens Agencies in Felixstowe, Suffolk.
The distinctive four-storey steel frame structure, designed by architect Colwyn Foulkes, features timber brise soleil, with curtain walling and a copper clad façade.
Internally, the headquarters' will boast large open plan offices, feature atrium and an impressive director's suite on the fourth-storey, with extensive views over the port to the North Sea.
The design also incorporates flood defence measures. The project is due to commence in August, with a 51-week construction programme.
