FLI International snaps up rival


FLI International, a specialist in the remediation of contaminated land, has acquired one of its rivals, Vertase.

Both will work in partnership to offer solutions to clients in the contaminated land and waste management sectors. They have offices in Bristol, Sheffield and Hertford.

Michael Longman, managing director of Vertase, said: “Vertase has enjoyed steady growth since it was established five years ago.”

Michael Rawdon, md of FLI, revealed that it has an objective to acquire a partner that will enable FLI to provide an integrated environmental solutions package.

FLI has 80 employees and has been in business for 20 years.
