Bluestone has won a framework deal with the Driving Standards Agency. The deal, worth £40m over three years, is to build regional tests centres in England and Wales.
The typical project size will be in the region of £850,000. The centres are required because of EU legislation requiring motorcycle test candidates to carry out braking and avoidance manoeuvres at a speed that would be unsuitable on the public highway.
Bluestone has been selected for all four regions in England and Wales: London and the South; the Midands and Eastern; Wales and the West; and the North.
