PARTNERING TERM CONTRACT
ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE PARTNERING CONTRACT APRIL 2006-MARCH 2011

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced companies interested in being considered for a Partnering Contract
with Bristol City Council for the above work:
The work will consist of maintenance of all electrical services as detailed in the Contract Schedule, requiring 24 hour response repair
and breakdown attendance throughout the year to public, commercial and domestic properties under the control and jurisdiction of Bristol City Council.
Properties range from public buildings, offices, schools, Social Services' premises, civic amenities, crematoria, leisure facilities,

commercial estates (including shops, farms and offices), multi-storey flats and sheltered housing accommodation, including communal areas and laundries, low rise flats and other buildings as specified.
The successful contractor must have the ability to attend to emergency breakdowns on site within specified times ranging from 1,
3, 24 and 48 hours, dependent on the nature and location of fault.
It is possible that during the lifetime of the partnership the arrangement may be extended to other public bodies and Registered
Social Landlords within Bristol and surrounding area. Such an extension is only expected to be, initially, on a small scale and
likely to be towards the latter part of the partnership.
