Invitation to Tender
Updating the Technical Information on AggRegain Specifier

WRAP (the Waste and Resources Action Programme) is a major Government programme established to accelerate resource efficiency by creating stable and efficient markets for recycled materials and products and removing barriers to waste minimisation, re-use and recycling.
Since its launch in February 2003, the WRAP AggRegain website (www.aggregain.org.uk) has become recognised by industry as a key resource for accessing information and providing guidance on the use of recycled and secondary aggregates. The Specifier tool is a vital and established element of the AggRegain facility. It comprises a large bank of technical information and helps specifiers and buyers to choose the right aggregate for the right application, to see which recycled and secondary aggregates can be used in the chosen application, and to download detailed technical notes and case studies.

The purpose of this project is to undertake on-going maintenance of the Specifier tool until February 2007. This will be conducted
through review and update of the technical content as required by changes in industry standards and specifications, and further
developments of AggRegain, since the previous update. This work is essential to ensure that AggRegain remains a key resource for
specifying recycled and secondary aggregates.
WRAP is pleased to announce this invitation for tenders from suitably qualified companies or individuals.
