TfL street maintenance

TRANSPORT FOR LONDON, SURFACE (STREETS)
HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE SERVICES CONTRACT RENEWAL 2007
TfL recognises the importance of good Highway Maintenance in ensuring the continued and improved integrity of the Transport for London Road Network. TfL have issued an OJEU Contract Notice, Ref 2005/S142-141445/EN, for the renewal of their Highway Maintenance Services Contracts for April 2007.
The Contracts will include but may not be limited to the provision of the following:
Responsive maintenance activities; street lighting and electrical maintenance; planned maintenance and improvements; arboricultural and horticultural maintenance; winter maintenance and emergency service cover.
It is our aspiration to work collaboratively with suitably experienced contractors with whom we can build longstanding working relationships in the provision of these services. The successful contractors will be dedicated to helping to deliver the quality of service that our customers and our staff deserve.
