"Cancel Christmas and save the homeless," is construction charity CRASH’s message this year.
CRASH wants construction firms to set aside the money they would usually spend on Christmas cards and donate it to the charity. Firms that do will be mentioned in CRASH’s Christmas ads.
CRASH has also made available an animated e-card to distribute to customer e-mails. This can be personalised with a company logo and enables firms to explain their decision to divert funds from cards to CRASH.
Last year, 53 firms supported the No Christmas Card campaign, raising nearly £50,000.
A form and more information can be found in the leaflet included with this week's issue of CJ. Forms must be returned by 21 October. The charity’s website is www.crash.org.uk.
CJ is a patron of CRASH.
