Contaminated land expert FLI secures rival Vertase

FLI International, a specialist in the remediation of contaminated land, has bought one of its rivals, Vertase.
Both companies will work in partnership to offer solutions to clients in the contaminated land and waste management sectors. They have offices in Bristol, Sheffield and Hertford.
Vertase managing director Michael Longman said: "Vertase has enjoyed steady growth since it was established five years ago."
FLI managing director Michael Rawdon said that his company had an objective to acquire a partner that will enable it to provide an integrated environmental solutions package.
FLI has 80 employees and has been in business for 20 years.
