Bovis wins major role at Russian airport

Bovis Lend Lease has been appointed to project manage the construction of a third terminal at Moscow's Sheremetyevo International Airport.

The terminal project, with an approximate value of £220m, will be managed by a multi-national team of 25.

The new terminal will be built on a 50-hectare site and have capacity for nine million pasengers a year.

Construction is scheduled for completion in August 2007, meaning that almost 170,000m2 of buildings and facilities will have to be delivered in only 25 months.
