Former Wates chief joins Pel Group

Interior fit out specialist The Pel Group has appointed former Wates chief executive Struan Robertson as its non-executive chairman.
Pel Group chief executive Nigel McGinnity commented: "We have achieved our market leading position through the continual alignment of the business to its marketplace. Since Pel’s MBO in 2001, the group’s business plan has been to strategically widen the customer base with which it trades. This year’s record order book is testimony to the group’s success. I am excited by the strategic appointment of Struan as our new chairman, who brings a wealth of experience within the construction sector to our business”.
