Totty Construction has secured a £4m contract from West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service to build a new fire station in Bradford.
The three-storey, steel frame structure, will feature a curved standing seam roof and brick facade, and a large maintenance area with five appliance bays.
Internally, the station will house a large community room, offices, kit drying room and gym, with four sleeping areas, lecture room, kitchen and canteen facilities on the first floor.
Totty will also construct a training tower on site for simulated rescues.
The project commences at the end of September with a 52-week contract duration.
