The BBC is inviting firms to pitch for four-year framework deals totalling approximately £200m for a wide range of small- to medium-sized construction projects across its entire UK property estate.
Frameworks are likely to be awarded for general building works and mechanical and electrical engineering services. However, the contracts may be combined into multi-skilled framework contracts if suppliers can demonstrate the right capabilities.
The selected contractors will be expected to work closely with BBC Property and its FM service providers and design and management service providers.
The work required comprises of around 7.5 million square feet of space in 140 plus properties. Some 75% of this space is in London with the remainder spread throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Contractors have until 27 September to register their interest in the frameworks.
