Two remain in Peterborough schools deal

Only two groups are now on the roll-call for a £64m PFI schools deal in Peterborough.
Land Securities Trillium (Kier/One Complete Solution FM/LSI Architects) and IIC Bouygues (Bouygues/Ecovert FM and Mill Group) will now work up best and final offers for the new-build Voyager School and the refurbished and extended Jack Hunt and Ken Stimpson schools.
The preferred bidder, which will be responsible for design and construction work as well as providing facilities management services for a 30-year period, is due to surface late next month.
The schools are set to open in time for the September 2007 term.
